We contacted LifeProof recently to fix my mother's leaking roof. Ryan came out and was able to find the cause and the team fixed it a couple of days later before the heavy rain set it. We had a very positive experience with Ryan, Georgia and the team and we're very happy that the issue has been fixed. I'll be using and recommending LifeProof in the future without hesitation. Thank you again!

How much do roof repairs cost in Melbourne?
Half the roof repairs we did came in under $1,736 ex GST, which is $1,910 including GST. The smallest roof repair was $361 ex GST. If you have a roof leak around a flashing or a few cracked roof tiles, expect the lower end. If your box gutter needs to be rebuilt, expect the upper end.
Do I need a roof repair, a roof restoration or a roof replacement?
That is what the roof inspection is for. A roof repair fixes a specific fault: a flashing, a valley, cracked tiles, a section of box gutter. A roof restoration is a re-bed, a repoint and a coat, and it only makes sense when the bedding and pointing are what is actually causing the problem. A roof replacement is for a roof that has reached the end of its service life. Our roof plumbers will tell you which one your roof needs, and when the cheaper option is the right one.
Does a roofing quote cost anything?
No. There is no call out fee and the roofing quote is free, and that includes the video roof inspection and the roof report that comes with it.
What happens during the video roof inspection?
Our roof plumbers get on the roof and record what we find, so you are not relying on our word for it. You get the video and a roof report showing the condition of your roof, what is causing the problem and what we recommend.
What is guaranteed on your roofing work?
Eligible completed roofing works carry a 10-Year Workmanship Warranty. Ryan's rule: “If we’re redesigning anything or replacing any materials, we give a warranty. If we’re just patching over the top of it, we don’t.” A make safe carries no warranty. Where we repair one part of a roof, that part is warranted and the rest of the roof is not.
Do you do emergency roof repairs?
Yes. Our emergency roofers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For an emergency roof leak we do a make safe: it stops the water getting in now, it does not fix the cause, and it carries no warranty. We quote the permanent roof repair separately so you can decide on it without water coming through your ceiling.
Are you local roofers and roof plumbers in Melbourne?
Our roofers and roof plumbers cover Inner Melbourne, South East Melbourne and East Melbourne, including Camberwell, Kew, Balwyn, Glen Waverley, Blackburn, Box Hill, Doncaster, Malvern, Clayton, Mulgrave, Cheltenham and Berwick. If you are not sure whether our roofing team comes to you, call and ask.
Are you licensed roof plumbers?
Yes. We are licensed roof plumbers, licence number 114431, ABN 26 409 371 960, and insured. Roof plumbing is licensed work in Victoria. Ask any roofer quoting on your roof for their licence number.
Ready to solve your roofing problem?
Whether you're dealing with a roof leak, ageing roof, drainage issue or considering a roof replacement, our team can identify the cause and recommend a long-term solution designed to perform.
